What is Bioethics? Content Definition Bioethics can be described as focusing on ethical questions brought up by connections between  biotechnology, medicine, life sciences, politics,  philosophy, law, and theology. In other words, bioethics is a cross-discipline of the life science and ethics. The life science solve what it can do, but the ethics solve what it should do. Definition Case analysis A woman was killed by a man after her vacation. Before the murder happened, the man has told his psychiatrist that he want to kill the woman. But because of confidentiality agreement between doctors and patients, the psychiatrist didnt warn the woman and her family. The psychiatrist wanted to try his best to send the man to the psychiatric hospital, but failed. Then the woman was killed. 01 02 03 Ethical analysis The scope of confidentiality agreement include the patients condition and some related personal information. When confidentiality obligations has clashed with other obligations, such as some disadvantage or harm to patient、other people and society , the confidentiality obligations should make way to the later if it is more important, such as respecting for the value of life.  Summarize Based on the consideration of the science and ethics, when the doctors are treating patients,  more consideration  should be given to the value of life, bioethics, and humanistic  quality.
