Environ. 2006, 15(3):7 - 11 Abstract:Based on fu ll analy sis of classified system, specific analysis for main form developin , distribu tion of fam ily and enus of Cruciferae, the hypothesis w as advanced that the center of diversity and ori in of Ch inese Cruciferae w as in Q in ha-i Tibet P lateau and its around hi h-land areas, and the ori in tmi e w as traced back to Tertiary Period before at least. Besides, the resu lt show s that there w ere th ree m i ration routes w hich led to the present distribution pattern:one of them from Q in ha-i Tibet Plateau N ortheastw ard across N in x ia, Shaanx,i Inner M on olia, Shanx,i Hebei to Northeastern of China;the second from Q in ha-i Tibet P lateau easwt ard across Chon qin , Hu n′an, Hubei alon Chan jian R iver basin distribution to east coast of China; the th ird from Q in ha-i Tibet Plateau Sou theaswt ard across Guizhou, Guan x,i Guan don , Fujian, exten t to Tawi an.
