强调 强调指突出句中的一部分，使其变得更加重要。 一 强调句 1 句型： It is/was+被强调部分+that/who+其他成分 注：强调物时用that，强调人时可用that/who. 强调句的时态要依据原句中的时态而定，即原句为过去时态用was，原句为现在或将来时态用is. 被强调部分可以是主语、宾语、表语和状语，不能强调谓语、定语和补语。 例： I am right.-----It is I that/who am right. I met Mary at the station three days ago. --( It was I that/who met Mary at the station three days ago. It was Mary that/who I met at the station three days ago. It was at the station that I met Mary three days ago. It was three days ago that I met Mary at the station. 2 强调句的一般疑问形式 Is/Was it+被强调部分+that/who+其他成分。 Was it Mary that/who you met at the station three days ago? 3 强调句的特殊疑问形式 特殊疑问词+is/was it+that+其他成分 It was Jack who/that broke the window. -( Was it Jack that/who broke the window? (一般疑问句) Who was it that broke the window? (特殊疑问句) 4 有时可用It might be…..that….., It must have been……that…….(即be动词有语气和时态的变化) It must have been his brother that you saw. 5 not….until….句型的强调句 It is/was not until+被强调部分+that+其他成分 He didn’t go to bed until 10 o’clock. -( It was not until 10 o’clock that he went to bed. 6 强调句的判定（主要是区分强调句与形式主语） 方法：将It is/was和that去掉，稍作调整后看能否恢复成一个完整的句子，能则为强调句，否则为主语从句。 It is there that accidents often happen (强调句) It is clear that not all boys like football.
