Goals help us focus, stay in control Goals are motivating Types of goals ???? Long term (dreams, aspirations) Medium term (wants) Short term (now, tasks, actions)      Prioritize!? Be specific!? ? For example, instead of telling yourself “I’ll do some statistics this week,” try “I’ll do 3 descriptive statistics problems Tuesday at 7pm.” Small bite-size pieces!? It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, so try breaking tasks down into smaller sub-tasks.? Once you’ve started it’s easier to keep going. Use all available time!? Structure the environment!? Establish a routine!? We are creatures of habit.? If you always study at a certain time or day then it will be easier to get into concentration mode.?
