Therefore, there should be some reforms on them . One and One diagnosis m ethod is a new testing method employed by Professor Cramer w ho teaches in the Reading and Language Arts Department in Oakland University, U. S .A. The purpose of the testing is tojudge the right English level of students! in vocabulary, reading and listening, and to explore the relationships between them. Based on the testing result, some instructional programs are put forw ard to improve students! ability in those aspects. This testing method is an important reference to English testing in China! s colleges and universities.
