Abstract ：In order to improve the performance of production planning and meet the sequence casting ，a parallel pushing method based on just in time principle is proposed for production planning in steelmaking-continuous casting process.In the method ， the start pouring time of each charge calculated by sequence casting is regarded as the delivery time ，and the start operation time of each charge determined in the reverse direction of processing routes from the end working procedure is considered as the target time for production planning.The parallel pushing algorithm is used to obtain the start time of the successor working procedure for all charges by parallel pushing in the direction of processing routes ，and to allocate suitable process- ing unit for each charge.And then ，to reduce the value of deviation between the start time of processing unit and the target time ，the start time is modified by the adjustment rule.The test with production data shows that the model and algorithm can draw quickly a conflict-free and feasible production plan with sequence casting in steelmaking-continuous casting process.
