We have many traditional customs to celebrate it. On that day, people will sweep the tombs of the ancestors, after that ,they offer food, flowers and favorites of the dead. And burn incense and paper money and bow. However, with the develop of the modern civilized society, a new policy that we should abandon some bad habits and sacrifice in a more civilized way, such as a family memorial meeting or writing a card, has been proclaimed. But this policy has caused wide public concern in our society. There is a voice that supports the way of traditional sacrifice. They believe that the Qingming Festival is our Chinese traditional day, so we should celebrate it in a traditional way. If not do according to that way, they may will feel uneasy and also be sorry to their ancestors deeply. However, some hold a different opinion that because the essence of Qingming is the commemoration, but not only a seasonal point of sacrifice, we should do some civilized and meaningful things to express our missing of late relationship. Besides, the traditional way of sacrifice is not convinient for us and also a waste of money. Upon this, in my point of view, I prefer the later opinion.
