I. The reason why psychological contract plays an important role in modern human resource management
(1) changes in management methods: personnel management from rigid to flexible
The modern management theory and practice through scientific management, behavioral science, management science, enterprise culture, in essence, management theory and practice can be divided into two categories: one is to work as the center, emphasizing the rigid management rules and regulations, the other is the human heart, focus on the flexible management of emotion people in need. These two kinds of management are very necessary, but they play different roles in different periods.
Rigid management from human rational existence, it is rational to promote, human has made brilliant achievements in the last hundred years: microelectronics, optical fiber, communication technology, laser technology, marine technology, aerospace technology, biotechnology, new energy, new materials, technology has completely changed the human way of life and social features and the people of the world. However, due to the limitations of reason, in rapid development, it also brings a lot of social problems. Therefore, irrational existence arises at the historic moment, and it is the reaction of humans essential spiritual needs.
The rational pursuit and irrational pursuit of human beings are embodied as rigid management and flexible management in management practice and theory.
The former takes production as the center, the essence is rational, and the latter is human centered, essentially emotional. The rigid management based on reason is the most basic and important means in management activity, and the direct means to gain benefit and efficiency. However, in organizational management activities, rigid management lacks human touch, puts people in the same position as machinery and equipment, and reduces human nature.
