Abstrac:tAdilutionstacksamplingsystemwasdesignedtomeasureparticulatematterfromstationarycombustionsource.sItsmiulatesthecoolin,g
dilutionandcondensationprocessafterthehotfluegasleavesthestackandcollectsprimaryparticulatematte.rThespecialfeaturesofthesamplingsystem
aredescribedindetai.lTestswerealsocarriedouttoverifythesamplingsystem.Thesystemshowsconsiderablestabilit,ysmipleoperationandcredible
measuringdata.Itwasoptmiizedtoasmallsizeforfieldtesting.Thesystemhasbeensuccessfullyutilizedtocharacterizeparticulatematterfrom
representativestationarycombustionsourcesinthefield.
