Abstract The paper has briefly described the current status of steel slag treatment, that is, the molten steel slag is uenched
by water first and then the steel slag particles are comprehensively utilized. The shortcomings of this traditional steel slag
process have been pointed out and a new techni ue for recycling molten steel slag has been put forward in the paper .
