1. 形容词修饰名词或代词，作定语 He is a tall man. It’s a beautiful present. The red pencil is mine. Is there anything special? There is nothing new. 2.形容词放在be,系动词之后，做表语。 They are friendly. That sounds good. he feels very tired. 形容词和副词的比较级 大多数形容词和副词有三个等级，即原级 比较级和最高级。当两个人或事物进行比较 时，需用（形容词或副词）的比较级。当三个 或 三个以上的人或事物进行比较时，需用（容 词或副词）最高级。 一、原级比较 A+谓语+as+原级+as+B。 (A=B) “A和B一样……” A+谓语+not+ as/so+原级+as+B (AB) “A不如B……” 我和Tom 一样高。 eg. I am as tall as Tom. 这本书和那本书一样有趣。 The book is as interesting as that one. 我的裙子没有她的好看。 My dress isn’t as beautiful as hers. 二、比较级用法（表示两者的比较） A+谓语+比较级+than+B。(AB) 意为“A比B…” 我比Tom高。 eg. I am taller than Tom. 她唱的比她姐姐好。 She sings better than her sister. than 2.比较A ，B两人/两事物问其中哪一个较…时用句型： “Who/which +谓语动词+ adj./adv.比较级，A or B ?” 谁更瘦， Jenny 还是 Mary？ Who is thinner, Jenny or Mary? 哪本书更好，这本还是那本？ Which book is better, this one or that one? 3. the +比较级+of the two… Mike是两个男孩中较高的那一个。 eg. Mike is the taller of the two boys. 4.比较级 and 比较级（单音节词或部分双音节词） “越来越……” eg. Our country is becoming stronger and stronger. more and more +多音节词或双音节词 eg. Our country is becoming more and more beautiful. 5. the +比较级+从句，the +比较级+从句 “越……，越……” eg. The harder you study, the better grades you get. The more, the better. The more you eat, the heavier you are. 六.形容词，副词比较级前的修饰语。 1）当需要表示一方超过另一方的程度时， 可以用much, a lot, a little, a bit, even, still，slightly等来修饰形容词比较级。注意: 比较级不能用very, so, too, quite等修饰。如： He is much more serious than Sam. I am feeling much better today. It’s slightly warmer today. 2) 也可在比较级前加上any, no, some, even, still等词。 Do you feel any better today? She was no older than Tom.
