Abstract: Aiming at the car accident caused by bad/ back-sig ht0, this paper introduces a new visible r ever sing radar alert system. This
system w orks during back-draft time, it uses ultrasonic w ave transmitted by an ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacle inform ation. After the ul-
trasonic w ave information is processed to distances information by microprocessor, the system w ill start back sight photog raph system, and
then display the distances information and back- sight im age on the T FT LCD scr een by u sing of on screen display ( OSD) technology. When
the distance is too small, the system w ill start to alert w ith actua-l person sound. This sy stem has some advantages of simple installing,
strong ant-i detonation ability, clear back- sight video, high accuracy and w orking stability.
