On the whole, ethnic groups sports and folk sports still have a certain way to go to catch up with other western sports on the aspects of adaptation, influence and sustainability. The backward development is caused by the cultural difference between China and the western countries, the incomplete rules of the sports, and lack of the popularity. We should improve the capability to integrating resource of the national folk sports, to make innovations and show the value. We should make more cultural promotion of the sports and enhance the serving capability, study the methods to keep the cultural heritage of the sports and improve the competitiveness by making the best of ethnic groups sports and folk sports resources and the opportunity brought by the cultural globalization.
