It always re su lts in im age stretch and deform ation wh ile doing the digital differential rectification. Therefore, the p roduction of true color digital orthop hoto m ap (DOM ) is harder in mountainou s city than in p lain city. A ccording to the p roce ssing of 1 ∶2 000 true color DOM in Chongqing, th is p ap er introduces sever al difficu ltie s and techn ical p rob lem s, including D EM acqu isition and edition, im age rep air and co lor adju sting, in the p roce ss of the p roduction of true color DOM in mountainou s city.
