Opened to all students in our college, from the angle of the film and television works, this course aims to help students visually understand similarities and differences in way of thinking, tradi- tions and customs in Chinese and western culture. Homosexual is a phenomenon that exists and has been discussed throughout the world. Almost every culture has ever disputed and been against this behavior. Due to AIDS, the west once was horrified by homosexual. Focusing on Bro- keback Mountain, this paper will analyze reasons that cause homosexual, attitudes of homosexuals and non-homosexuals, their final and deep concern that the movie has left.
