Suggestions for teaching text B Normally, Text B is intended for the students to read after class. Text B is used as an extensive reading material. If the teacher has time to teach/talk about Text B in class, it is advisable for the teacher to ask the students to read the text (as a sort of homework) before they meet in class for the study of the text. a. new words: 1. major (n.) 主修科目，专业学生；vi 主修，主攻 e.g. Tom majors in English at college.
