物理名家8(Physicist 8) Nicolaus Copernicus Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543) great polish astronomer, founder of heliocentric theory, the founder of modern astronomy. Born on February 19, 1473 in toron, Poland. The father died at the age of ten, and was raised by his uncle, vaxelrod. At the age of 18, he went to Krakow university, where he was taught by the humanist and mathematics professor, bruchowski, to devote himself to the research of astronomy. Go back to hometown three years later. At that time, he was the archbishop of elmelan, who sent him to Italy to study the Canon law. He studied at the university of bologna between 1497 and 1500, and studied a wide range of subjects, especially mathematics and astronomy, in addition to church regulations. His most influential teacher was a leader of the Renaissance movement, professor of astronomy, norfala. When Copernicus was in Italy, his uncles recommendation, in 1497, was chosen to be the monk of the cathedral of fronbourg. He returned from Italy in 1501 and was formally sworn in as a grandfather, but then asked for leave to go to Italy again. He studied law and medicine at the university of padua. In 1503, he received a doctorate in church law from the university of ferrara. In 1506 Copernicus returned from Italy to Poland. When his uncle died in 1512, he settled in fort veron. As a monk, Copernicus, the position is easy. He devoted much of his energy to the study of astronomy. Copernicuss main contribution was the creation of a scientific heliocentric theory, writing the declaration of the independence of natural science - the theory of celestial transportation. In 1535, Copernicus completed six volumes of scientific magnum opus in four nine years. The first volume is about the center of the solar universe, the earth and other planets orbiting the sun.
