Credit management for global operations
As a competitive marketing strategy, credit sale is one of the most frequently used methods to stimulate sales. Especially when enterprises face an unfamiliar market, or in the recession of the economic cycle, credit sales are conducive to winning orders, expanding sales, seize the opportunity. But credit sales are also the root cause of default payments and bad debt losses. When bad debts occur, companies may need several additional sales to make up for them. The losses caused by the payment in arrears are more recessive. It makes the enterprises lose the opportunity cost and financing cost unconsciously, and reduce the profit margin of enterprises. According to the China credit insurance company released data collection, the success rate and the default time is inversely proportional to age more than half a year to recover the arrears, the final success rate is below 50%.
Now, more and more enterprises begin to China toward the door and try to deal with unfamiliar partners in the market some institutional environment differences, which increases the Chinese enterprises to credit management difficulty to a certain extent.
