Methods: the clinical symptoms of elderly wine dependence patients were analyzed by discharge card. Results: the elderly wine dependence patients accounted for 14.8% of the patients with alcohol dependence in the same period. According to the type three classification of Carruth, the most severe cases were elderly worsening type (76.92%), followed by early onset (13.46%), and the least delayed hair type. The majority of alcohol dependence in elderly people is caused by stress in the elderly, young with a slight alcohol dependence, and into the elderly, such as not reducing alcohol or alcohol, will lead to alcohol dependence on the elderly. Conclusion: there is an increasing trend of alcohol dependence in the elderly. Only reducing alcohol or drinking alcohol, reducing or correctly treating stress events will reduce alcohol dependence in elderly people.
