自主管理自己，做自律的枫叶学子 大家上午好。我是七年级二班的刘煜曦，今天我演讲的主题是“自主管理自己，做自律的枫叶学子”。 步入枫叶，我们不再是稚嫩的孩子，而是独立自主的新时代的中学生。我们是自己的主人，是枫叶初中的青春活力的一部分。 Dear students and teachers, Good morning. I’m Helen Liu from Class 2 Grade 7. Today my speech is “Managing Independently, Being Self-discipline Maple Leaf Junior Students”. Stepping into the Maple Leaf School, we are no longer young children, but the independent students of the new era of the junior high school. We are masters of ourselves; we are the glowed part of youth in Maple Leaf. 何谓“自律”，自律就是“自己约束自己”。我们男生都想拥有绅士般的气质、女生也想显示淑女般的形象，这就需要“自律”。 What is self-discipline? We are the guys who want to have the makings of a gentleman and girls who also want to display the ladys images, and this requires self-discipline. ?? 　美国有个心理学家曾做过这样一个实验，将一群小孩放在同一个房间，并放上糖果，告诉他们糖果只能等工作人员回来再吃，然后又用隐藏的摄像头观察他们，发现只有少部分孩子克服了糖果的诱惑，而大多数都吃下了糖果。以后工作人员跟踪调查，发现没吃糖的孩子成人后在事业上大多都很成功，而吃了糖的那部分孩子却少有成就，并且失业率很高。由此可见，自律是成功的阶梯。 A psychologist from the United States has made such an experiment.
