However, as productivity has risen, the machine has brought danger to the production site. The conventional wisdom is that proper control of machine risk can cost and affect productivity. In addition, workers may take down protective devices or refuse to use personal protective equipment when operating machines or work around machines, and many companies simply do not value machine safety at all. This chapter will address the inappropriateness of many negative attitudes towards machine security. It is possible to eliminate machine hazards and increase production at the same time. Even installing a protective device doesnt necessarily mean spending more or reducing productivity. There are actual machine hazards in particular locations, such as operating points, machine power transmission points, or moving parts. This chapter focuses on the danger of operating points, because the protection measures in this position are usually difficult, but they are closely related to the production efficiency. Other dangers cannot be ignored. 1. Inspection of machine production efficiency: Turn around in the factory and observe the following: Is there any machine that causes delays or blockages in production Have the machine run slowly due to packing or recharging device Are there any signs of fear or hesitation due to the dangers of machinery or production processes There is no mechanical protection device that has been altered, demolished or destroyed If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, the following guidelines help to address the problem of machine productivity and security.
