Abstract :The e ectrochemica method for the treatment of wastewater containing dyestuff has attracted a great dea of at-
tention.The recent progress of e ectrochemica techniques,such as interna e ectro ysis, e ectrica aggregation and f oata-
tion.E ectrof occu ation and e ectrocata ytic oxidation are introduced.In the meantime, the advances and existing prob-
ems of these methods are eva uated,the deve oping trend is pointed out .
