Abstract :Due to the excellent physical ，chemical and mechanical properties of cobalt powder ，it is
widely used in many fields． The current situation and technical development of cobalt powder at home
and abroad is introduced ，the preparation methods of cobalt powder are summarized． At the same
time ，application of cobalt powders in cemented carbide is introduced ，and puts forward some sugges-
tions on the direction of its development．
