Xinxing Farm of uangxi) Abstract: The effect of 13 herbicides on control of weed Cyp er us r ot und us L. , which planted in shed covered with plastic film, was conducted by spraying on the leaves of the plant. And the safety to the crop was evaluated in some of the herbicides those showed high control effect in sugarcane field T he result showed that with the tested. condition chorimuron ethyl sulfentrazone ethoxysulfuron bentaxone and MCPA gave a better control effects, , , , , topping 75%, but with the effects over 90%, rimsulfuron, flazasulfuron and imazapic gave the best ones compared with the others. Furthermore they could effectively kill the regenerated bulb of the weed. In poisonous effect on sugarcane rimsulfuron was more serious than flazasulfuron while imazapicwas the most serious which caused so, , , badly injury to the crop that the poisoned plants couldnt return to normale Some mixtures of the herbicides per-. formed a highly selectivity in controlling the weed.
