On this basis, the general plan of the system was preliminarily designed. The traceability system consisted of management system of core enterprises, center database and the traceability platform for consumers was set up. The in- volved criticaltechnologies in the traceability systemwere emphatically analyzed, including information gathering technology, the encoding technology of products, the data transfer and sharing technology based on XML web.
