如何从iec通信标准中获益（How do you benefit from the IEC communication standards） How do you benefit from the IEC communication standards? Abstract: This paper briefly explains communication protocol, standardization, project scheme and test outline for protocol application. More detailed information is requested. The International Electrotechnical Commission Committee fifty-seventh (IEC TC57) technology is a standard organization, it has been for the protocol application formulation, and still in the formulation of control center and substation within and between control center and substation telecontrol communication and interface standard. Figure 1 shows the applicability of the various IEC standards. Some of them belong to the IEC 60870-5 standard series, although they were published in 90s, they are still being perfected by absorbing new technologies and practical experience. TCS101 and PCS103 versions are being used all over the world, and protocol applications are trying to move those proprietary protocols closer to them. More promising is the TCS104, which was launched in late 2000, is based on TCS101 and uses broadband (TCP/IP) technology. The release of IEC 61850 this year has made it feel as if it will replace the IEC 60870-5 series. Its hard to say, but we dont think its possible at the moment. Of course, this can happen at some point in the future, when new technologies, infrastructure, and control centers are developed to meet certain requirements. In fact, as can be seen from Figure 1, the purpose of the two protocols is entirely different. At present, the proven technology is more acceptable than the latest technology in the initial investment phase. That way, when using the IEC 60870-5 series standard, its important to care about interoperability of the telecontrol system because the device is installed for a few years.
