Abstract:Eight compounds were isolated from the leaves of Poacy num hendersonii by using extraction and silica gel column
chromatography and their chemical structures were identified as lupenyl palmitate(1), n-hexadecanoic acid(2), β-sitosterol
(3), quercetin(4), quercetin-3-O-β-D -glucosides(5), quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucosyl-β-D-glucopyranosides(6 ), syringaresinol-β-

D-glucopyranoside(7)and saccharose(8 )by physical-chemical properties and spectral data of UV, IR, HN R, C N R and
S.Compounds 2, 6, 7and 8 were found from this plant for the first time.
