M ethod　A cute toxicity test of m ice, Am e s te st, m icronucleu s te st of bone m arrow PCE cell in m ice, sp erm abnorm ality te st of m ice and feeding for th irty days were u sed. Result　The oral acu te toxicity study indicated that the m axim um ach ievab le concentration of each sex were all above 20. 0 g/ kg body weigh t; The re su lts of genotoxicity te stswere all negative, including the re su lts of Am e s te st, m icronucleu s test and sp erm shap e abnorm ality te st. A nd the feeding test showed that there wa s no rat died. Con clusion 　 There is no toxicity in the L actobacillus acidop h ilus LA G80 according to the re su lt of th is study, wh ich sugge sts that u se of L actobacillus acidop h ilus LA G80 in food is safe. 【Key word
