ABSTRACT Due to the increasing amount of pho tovoltaic (PV)-based p ower generation being connected to po wer systems, issues p ertaining to the integration of the PV-based generators have attracted intense attention. In this connection, the design of a PV-based stabilizerf or enhancingpo wer system dy namic stability is examined. The damp ing action is achieved through the indep endent control of real po wer f lowf rom the stabilizer and voltage at the po int of common coupling between the stabilizer and grid system. The stabilizer system is designed based on classicalf requency resp onse technique.
