Methods: The expressìon of Ku80 protein in 223 specimens of NPC was detected by ìmmunohistochemistrγ. The correlation of Ku80 expression wìth clinìcopathologic features and progonisis of NPC was analyzed. Results: The overexpression rate of Ku80 was 44%. The expression of Ku80 had no significant correlation wìth the sex , age and pathological type( P 0.05) , but had significant correla- tìons with TNM , N and M stage( P O. 05). Kaplan-Meìer survival analysìs suggested that the patieuts with Ku80 overexpression had lower overall survival rate ,but difference between the two groups had no statistical sìgnificance( P =O. 141).
