China) Abstract:Based on 28 Primers which are of stable po1ymorphism se1ected from 100 random primers , RAPD po1ymorphism of 34 sweet osmanthus(Osmαηthus fragrans) cultivars , 6 in - dividuals from wi1d popu1ation and 5 other species of Osmanthus , and their re1ationships were detected. Among a tota1 of 231 fragments observed , 209 fragments were po1ymorphic (90.4%). There wer巳 obvious differentiation amo日g differ巳nt goup in po1ymorphism , and the order was as follows: Latifo1ius Group Fragrans Group and Thunbergii Group Auran tiacus Group. The results of cluster ana1ysis wer巳 consistent with morpho1ogica1 classifica- tion by and 1arge. A DNA fingerprinting based on 21 bands amp1ified with A l1 and M18 was constructed and might be used in sweet osmanthus cultivars identification. There were obvi- ous differentiaion among different cu1tivars . ln addition , it is feasib1e to identify the sweet osmanthus cu1tívars and to study their relationships of this cultivars by use of the RAPD technique.
