The detection lim its are in the range of 0. 11～0. 35ng/ g, and recoverie s of m ain PCB s congeners range from 77. 9% to 112. 1% ( average is 86. 8% ) F inally, PCB s in the su rface sedim en t samp le s in the low reach of the Yangtze R iver were analyzed by u sing the op tim ized m ethod and the quality con tro l re su lt show s that such m ethod is effective.
