Teaching mission: analyze and grasp the characters and rules of health-serving market; understand the economic burden of disease, the function of market and government in health-serving field; be familiar with the total expenses of health together with its calculating method, the system of medical insurance, health-serving system and the reform; learn some about the manpower of health, the problem about optimized collocation of health resources, the calculation of health institution’s cost, the management of the price of medical serve and medicine, the financial management and analysis of sanitation, the analyzing and estimating method of health economy; etc. 二、教学内容与要求 第一章　绪论 内容要求：通过本章学习，要求学生掌握卫生经济学研究的对象和内容，卫生经济学理论与方法的应用领域和我国卫生事业的性质、地位和作用，了解卫生经济学的产生与发展过程。本章重点：卫生经济学研究的对象和内容 本章难点：我国卫生事业的性质、地位和作用 内容要求：要求学生掌握卫生服务需要与需求、卫生服务需求弹性和边际效用的内涵；掌握卫生服务需求定理、卫生服务需求特点、卫生服务需求的影响因素及需求弹性理论；熟悉卫生服务需求和卫生服务需求研究的方法；熟悉卫生服务需求弹性的计算、分析的基本方法及其在卫生领域的应用，了解卫生服务需求理论研究状况。本章重点：卫生服务需求的影响因素和需求弹性理论 本章难点：卫生服务需求的影响因素和需求弹性理论 内容要求：掌握有关卫生服务市场的基本概念，以及在卫生服务市场中市场机制失灵现象出现的原因及政府宏观调控的必要性；深刻认识市场机制和政府干预在卫生服务领域的作用；熟悉卫生服务市场构成及特点，卫生服务产品特性。本
