Combining other lip id low ering drugs reasonablyw ith statin can further reduce the residual cardiovascu lar risk in h igh-risk patients. In this article, w e have provided an overview of current status of comb ined lip id-low ering drug therapy and analyzed the research trends in this field. What ismore, w e have also put forw ard a new basis for rational choice of comb ined lip id-low ering therapy for physician.
