歷史的寄存：施叔青《三世人》中的身／物 101 歷史的寄存：施叔青《三世人》中的身／物 i 沈曼菱ii 摘要 本文將以施叔青（1945- ）的《三世人》為例，觀察其筆下特有的歷史書寫 現象—歷史物質化、表層化甚至檔案化的情況，深究歷史小說檔案化的特質為 何。首先從歷史書寫的方向切入，以「檔案」（archive ）與「物質」（material ）的 向度輻射，接著透過施叔青的小說，觀察歷史在文學中呈現的特殊樣貌，對其意 義進行思辨與分析，在懷舊與謄寫之中呈現小說家對於歷史的詮釋。檔案／寄存 取向的歷史小說不再辯證其資料之真／偽，而是在小說中形構了以現時為基點的 歷史氛圍，儘管不可能完整，但它的確嘗試建立一個具有過去形象的歷史觀點。 從另一方面看《三世人》代表的意義是，作家以創作回應歷史書寫如何可能，在 物質與聲明的檔案之中，透過身／物的相互參照，文本與檔案／寄存的概念逐漸 相關，歷史進而與現時產生了交集和連結。 關鍵詞 ：物質、懷舊、謄寫、檔案、歷史書寫 i 本文初稿宣讀於第三十五屆全國比較文學會議「寄／記存之間」。 ii 目前為國立中興大學中文系博士候選人。 102 文史台灣學報第六期 Historical Archive ：The Study on Body and Material in Shi Shu-chings Three generations of people Shen , Man-Ling Abstract This paper explores Taiwanese historical novel with body writing and material writing.
