Hydraulic torque converter and engine together provide power to the hydraulic drive sys- tem. The power efficiency that is available of the whole system is determined by how well hydraulic torque converter matched the engine. This paper explains the matching principle in brief, a new method of matching is introduced based on Mat lab/GUI. A proper matching result can be analyzed and achieved by using this new software. It proved that the software that proposed in this paper can significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy during matching process, but also provide data for the future traction calculation of the whole vehicle.
