It has the effect of obviously resisting hyperglycemia induced by four alloxan in mice and reducing the total cholesterol and glycerin three in the blood of rats fed with hyperlipemia [1]. Hawthorn is one of the main components of reducing blood lipids in this preparation. The data showed that the hypolipidemic constituents of Hawthorn were total flavonoids [2]. In this paper, rutin was taken as the control substance, and the content of flavonoids in compound SGT was determined by colorimetry.
