The categories of the foreign education works and that of analysis Abstract With the development of education and the deepening study of pedagogy, it is the inevitable trend to establish a universal category system. Education is the embodiment of education phenomenon. This study selected foreign education writings since Comenius, in accordance with the principles of convenience samples, we divided into three stages: embryonic stage, the traditional stage and the modern stage. Because the native category can ’t meet the needs of this study, we proposed three categories to be judged, they were natural category, human abstract category and comprehensive category. Through the analysis of foreign education category and logic in the works, we found that although the natural category had a tendency to decrease, the human abstract category was increasing, the level of the human abstract category need to be further improved. Therefore, based on theory of Professor Sun, and through actual analysing of the categories of the foreign education and value analysing on theory. This study proposed education writings should include four category, they are education activities, education tizhi, education mechanism and education concept. To be specific, this study included the following contents: The first chapter is introduction.
