5S comes from Japanese
Finishing (SEIRI)...... Organisation
Consolidation (SEITON)...... Neatness
Cleaning (SEISO)...... Cleaning
Cleaning (SEIKETSU)...... Standardisation
Accomplishment (SHITSUKE)...... Discipline and Training
Because the five word in Japanese, the pronunciation of the first letter is S, so collectively referred to as 5S. 5S activities can not only improve the production environment, but also improve production efficiency, product quality and employee morale...... One move and one move is one of the cornerstones of other management activities.
An implementation of 5S factory, on the various positions just glanced at, feel dirty, floor garbage, oil, iron and other adhesion, has become a black layer; carton parts, casually resting on the floor, personnel, vehicles are in a crowded narrow aisle......
