Key Lab.of Intelligent Computing Signal Processing,Anhui University,Hefei230039,China) Abstract:For theinsufficiency of detecting weak radar targets,basing ontheradar signalsandnoiseactualmodel, a fast algorithm for the Gabor representationfor radar signalsispresentedto structurethe moving target detection(MTD) system basedonreal- valueddiscrete Gabor transforms.Inthis paper, asanimportmant joint time- frequency analysis tool, DCT- based real- valued discrete Gabor trans form isutilizedto represent theradar signalsintheGabor domain. Numericalexamplesaregivento demonstratetheefficiency ofthealgo rithm.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is capable of separating echoes of the objects with different doppler fre quencies, various arrivaltimes, and additive white noises.
