Based on the textual study, the report illustrates the basic language features of the text. Seriousness, sensitivity and formality are the main language features of Culture Means Business. Formal expression, concise language, long sentences and data are often used in work report. The nature of it determines that Culture Means Business takes on these unique language features of its own. Based on the analysis of these language features, this paper mainly explores the translation methods of Culture Means Business. The paper lays focus on analyzing the translation methods of the long sentences, the passive sentences and the subordinate clauses. Considering that there are many long and complex sentences in Culture Means Business, practical methods for solving this issue are presented in this paper, which are simple but effective. Firstly, subject, predicate and object should be picked out and all the predicative structures, the nonfinite verbs, the prepositional phrase and the guide words of clauses in the long sentences should be distinguished. Then, the interrelationship among words, phrases and clauses should be analyzed. Finally, several approaches to the report translation should be applied, such as amplification, omission, conversion and inversion of sentence structures.
