经验（experience） 2. process characteristics of the food industry In the food processing industry, the biggest obstacle to the application of membrane technology is to deal with various kinds of materials and different physical properties. Processing costs and food industry requirements of membrane technology in Japan is very low, usually require treatment cost per kilogram of feed for the following a few dollars, which adds to the difficulty of the application of membrane separation technology in food industry. The main reasons for the food industry to promote the use of membrane separation technology are the following three points: 1. improve product quality; 2. reduce production costs; 3. lead to new product development. The disadvantage of diatomite filtration technology is that diatomite, residue and other wastes are produced. It is difficult to produce automation and the production environment is abominable. Therefore, users are always looking for alternative technology. At the same time, generally diatomite filtration, in order to sterilization, usually need to add a filter core filtration process. After the use of crossflow microfiltration membrane, diatomite is no longer needed. It can realize the automation of production and sterilization at the same time.
