Since the early 90s of the last century, it took him 15 years to study how best American university teachers work in teaching. He and his colleagues have conducted a long-term and comprehensive survey of 70 or more than 20 recognized excellent teachers in different universities, and have a good understanding of the views, attitudes and practices of these outstanding teachers in teaching and learning at all levels. These findings not only provide a clear guiding ideology and learning example for American college educators, but also have valuable reference significance for Chinese University teachers.
