We need to advertise because we want our voices to be heard and accepted by more people.
However, there is always some kind of power, or certain interest groups, or other activists, in order to promote their own narrow ideology and use some publicity methods to fool the people, trying to make people give up thinking, in order to submit in an attempt to stop these people, we need to look at some of their usual propaganda.
The basic way to oppose propaganda is to obtain information from multiple sources as much as possible, to think independently and rationally, and not to follow the logic of propagandists.
Here are eleven common publicity methods identified by the American Institute of propaganda and analysis. See, believe you wont be fooled easily.
Assertion (Assertion)
Assertions are often used in advertising and modern propaganda. An assertion is a statement expressed as a fact, passionate or vigorous, although it may not be true in fact. A person who makes an assertion usually suggests that such a statement needs no explanation or confirmation, but should only be accepted without questioning. Although there were few examples of assertions in wartime propaganda, this was common in modern advertising. At any time, when businessmen claim that their products are the best in advertising without providing any evidence, they are using assertions. Ideally, the audience will simply agree with these statements without seeking more information or argumentation. Although assertions are often easy to see, this approach is often a dangerous means of Publicity because they usually include falsehood and falsehood.
