Whole (Language) is one of the most important theoretical trends in childrens language education field in recent years. This educational theory has not only promoted the reform of childrens language education all over the world, but also has had a great influence on the kindergarten programs, activities and courses that have been popular in the West in recent years. Since 1990s, the idea of whole language education has been gradually introduced into our country and has had a positive impact on language education in china. This paper intends to start with a survey of the concept of whole language education, and then to discuss the current situation and development trend of childrens language education in China, and to further explore the localization of Chinese childrens language education.
