Many managers consider themselves aware of the problem and how employees are managed. But in my personal experience, knowing is not equal to achieving - we often know a lot of things, but when we need to act, we seem to be at a loss what to do. Because dealing with anything, we need to have the ability to cope with it.
The same is true of the management of problem workers. Just knowing how to manage is not enough. Managers must also master certain essential skills, as follows:
1, penetrating observation.
2, the ability to change thinking.
3, the ability to listen patiently.
4, the ability to provide targeted training.
5, critical ability.
6, the ability to set up and implement the elimination mechanism.
These six competencies are what managers need to deal effectively with problem employees, and if you want your team to achieve high performance, these are the things you need to know as quickly as possible.
A penetrating observation
Although we have given a clear account of the characteristics of the problem employee, this does not mean that you can easily find problems that are hidden in the team.
