Abstract
In order to use waste plastics resource effectively, it was carried out to study the
feasibility in the coking conditions on producing metallurgical coke and high strength
porous coke by adding waste plastics in this paper. The blended coal and mixed waste
plastics were used in the co-carbonization process. The effect of waste plastics
particle size, pyrolysis rate, coke final temperature and holding time on the coke
quality were investigated, meanwhile, using conventional coking technology to deal
