But it cannot be denied that the cultural history ’ studies on the early s years of the PRC have great developing space. Currently the cultural history ’ studies on the early years of the PRC s show the characteristics of combination of macro level, middle level and micro level and thematic studies, but full of cultural charm of the cultural history writing must return to the culture itself and start to do more rigorous empirical studies. ： ’ Key words the early years of the PRC, the cultural history of the PRC, the cultural history s materials 按照 1949 年《 中国人民政治协商会议共同纲领》规定，中华人民共 和国成立以后，中国要走新民主主义文化发展道路。 这种新文化，可概 括为“一个原则、七大业态”—— 义文化思想的指导下发 —即在新民主主 展文学艺术、新闻出版、社会科学、体育卫生、教育、科学、思想道德等文 化事业。 其中，新民主主义文化是“灵魂”，七大业态围绕着“灵魂”来具 体展开。 当前，人们对于文化概念的泛化认识，并不利于研究具体历史 时期文化的历史。 新中国成立初期七年的文化，将其视为具体的历史过 程，其内涵和外延相对稳定，能够作相对长时段的考察，不会受文化认 识“先入为主”观念的限囿。 这里从新中国初期文化史的史料情况、研究 概况等方面作简要评述。
