A ccording to t e fracture and trace analysis of t e failed diap ragm m embrane, contrasting t e bus es t at w ere m ade by d ifferent factories, and ground compression test of t e norm al diap ragm m embrane, it is found t at, t e accident t at t e airplane fron t-canopy dropped w as caused by t e abnorm al break of membrane. Extruding injure ofm embrane caused in t e second assemb lyw as t em ain reason for t e failure. T e break of m embrane under t e ig pressure and low temperature because of stress concentration in t e position of t e extruding injure of m em brane, caused t at t e em ergency actuating cylinder started runn ing, and t e airp lane front-canopy dropped in t e air. In add ition t e poorm ac ine quality of t e bus was attributed to t is failure.
