An Empirical Analysis on Effects of Non—teacher Factors on the Results of the Students’ Teaching Evaluation   Abstract. Many factors affect the results of the students teaching evaluation. Some are teacher’s factors and some are non-teacher’s factors. Through empirical analysis, this paper studies the effects of the non-teachers factors on teaching evaluation: the number of class in a classroom, the number of students in a classroom, workload of the teachers, enrollment level of the students, grade of the students and quality of the courses. The result shows that the effects of non-teacher’s factors in teaching evaluation do exist, but they are different for different study subjects. We hope that the paper can provide some references for the management and use the result of teaching evaluation scientifically. Key words: non-teacher factors;teaching evaluation;effect 1 Introduction Teaching evaluation results reflect the overall satisfaction degree of the students with classroom teaching. Many factors affect the results of teaching evaluation. There are both teachers factors, such as the teachers ability and level of effort, etc. and non-teachers factors which can’t be directly controlled by the teachers themselves. According to data availability, we select the following non-teacher factors as the research subject: the number of class in a classroom, the number of students in a classroom, workload of the teachers during one semester, enrollment level of the students, grade of the students and excellent courses. At present, many colleges and universities take advantage of the results of teaching evaluation to some extent. Some of them even take the teaching evaluation results as an important indicator of employment, assessment, job classification or job promotion of the teachers. But the colleges or universities have not taken the impacts of non-teacher factors into consideration in the use of teaching evaluation results. It’s irrational for the teachers
